Whānau Care and Support

The Whānau Care and Support service focuses on Māori health gain objectives, in particular, drug and alcohol abuse and the prevention of family violence, youth suicide and youth conflict for rangatahi and their whanau in the Highbury, Westbrook and Cloverlea areas of Palmerston North. Advocacy support can look like the following: WINZ/START, Budgeting, Court proceedings/Fines, Oranga Tamariki, Housing needs, Employment and Education, Alcohol and Drug counselling, Sexual health education, family violence prevention and whānau support and wellbeing. The Whānau Care and Support service is a free and confidential service for Rangatahi/Youth aged between 10-24 years.
